News Save Our Soldiers Boxes
UPDATE:

We were very pleased to recieve a letter of thanks from the charity Save Our Soldiers and would like to share it with Staff, Students and Parents. Click here to view the letter

This half term Walters House students have been involved in charity work for Save Our Soldiers and have been making morale boxes up to send to serving British troops abroad.

Students have risen to the challenge and have collected items for these SOS boxes in their form groups, made up the boxes and these are now ready to be collected and sent to our troops abroad.

The boxes have included a wide variety of items, including, stationary so the soldiers can write to their loved ones back home, sweets to cheer them up, hand sanitizer to keep them germ free, and toiletries to keep them clean, to name but a few items. Some students have even put in a letter or signed a card to let the soldiers know that they are appreciated.

Special mention goes to 7D for their effort in this work as every member of their form group took an active part in the collection of items for the SOS boxes.

In all 23 boxes have been made.

Our thanks go to all our house students who have taken part in this event.
