Great Wyrley High School

Business Studies

Meet the team:

Mrs K Moore – Assistant Headteacher

After completing my Business degree at Wolverhampton University, I worked for Hayes Accountancy and Finance before deciding to become a teacher.  I completed my PGCE at Wolverhampton University and started teaching at Great Wyrley High School in 2009 where I successfully completed my NQT year. After my first year of teaching I was appointed as Head of Year 8 and successfully took the pupils through to Year 11. After this time, I became Head of Department and embarked on my NPQSL. I then went onto to become Director of Year 11 alongside the head of department role working with other directors to improve the progress of a specific Year 11 cohort. After successful completion of my NPQSL I was lucky enough to be offered an Assistant Heads position with responsibility for whole school attendance and Post 16 and faculty leader for Business Studies, Computer Studies and Social Sciences.

Miss E Nation – Teacher of Business
